Essential Reading Lists

Patient and Public Involvement

This reading list draws together resources that we think will be helpful if you are doing Patient and Public Involvement/Community Engagement in a trial or study. It is not an exhaustive list but rather a recommended package of resources.

Aim/Learning Objective	To gain an understanding of how to do patient and public involvement/community engagement when working on a trial or study.
Target audience	Everyone who is new to doing patient and public involvement/community engagement on a trial or study.
Structure and Duration	The resources can be read or watched in any order. Estimated length of time to complete: 3 hours.
Certification	A certificate will be issued on successful completion of each module and quiz (minimum 80%). It is not compulsory to take the quiz; this is only if certification is desired. There is no limit to the number of times a quiz can be taken. You will need to answer some brief feedback questions to help us improve our Essential Reading Lists in order to access the quiz.
